The scene revolves around a hate triangle between three characters; the Good, a wandering gunman, the Bad, the sadistic hitman, and the Ugly, a Mexican character. The three hate each other during a search for a fortune in gold buried in the graveyard. While the three had initially teamed up, the Bad discovered the graveyard where gold was hidden, and all he wanted was for them to lead him to the graveyard. In the triangle of hate at the graveyard, the three are seen to fight for fortune.
The three face both psychological and emotional problems. Each of them panics and exhibits an anxiety disorder due to the huge fortune that they should fight for. There are feelings of terror in the situation, even with the predictable danger. The Bad exhibits the panic signs even more due to his intuition regarding his two counterparts’ indispensable knowledge. The three also exhibit negative emotions against themselves and towards each other. Fear is inflicted in the environment, creating a tense environment even before the shootings.
The editing done in the video helps me understand the pressure between the three characters. From a general view, it is evident that no one among the three knows whatever would be happening next. The Bad is portrayed as a ruthless individual who would not want to see anything standing in his way. He was guided by money throughout the scene. From the last shooting, it is evident that all he wanted was to use someone to achieve his goals. His character can be perceived as a rigid and menacing one, as evidenced by the resolution to pull the trigger.
