This paper centers on evaluating organizational structure in a global and organizational structure in decision making. Furthermore, the discussion will assess how these structures differ concerning the mission, management decision-making, and workflow. The paper will also offer strategies a manager can utilize when interfacing with others, centering on culture and structure within global and industrial organization culture.
Global organization structure is the approach an organization aims to merge local preferences with global strategy. The global strategy is an approach to adjust to an international organization. According to Gitman et al. (2018), globalization is the economic and social process by which communities and economies develop inextricably interdependent. On the other hand, organizational structure in decision making is the process by which one or more organizational departments decide on behalf of a company. According to Gitman et al. (2018), the decision-making unit can be influenced by an individual like a manager, or an entire organizational membership. For the successful implementation of several changes in an organizational structure, the manager should consider different factors. These include having a clear vision for the future given the strength and weaknesses of a firm. The manager should also center on Human Resource Management to ensure employee retention and client satisfaction. Joseph and Gaba (2020) indicate that the management can use organizational structure in decision making to eradicate conflict situations, enhance goal synchronization and guarantee effective planning for change through empowerment.
