Food Intake Analysis
Going over the calorie content of what I eat, it is below the 2,500 recommended daily calorie consumption that a person should have; however, I do not necessarily feel weak or dizzy during the day. My diet has a lot of fiber, lean meat, macrobiotic support from yogurt and plenty of fluids. For me, it sates any hunger I have, and I do not feel the compulsion to eat more than what I have already taken in.
When going over what I eat and comparing it to my daily physical activity, I believe that it makes sense that I do not require to eat as much as most other people. I have a sedentary lifestyle and do not engage in any form of strenuous physical activity. The vast majority of daily physical activities that I do have consists of commuting to my college campus and walking to class. I should note though that just because my calorie consumption is low does not mean that I am not liable to have complications with my health in the future. A sedentary lifestyle, even if it is combined with a low-calorie diet, is likely to cause a build-up fat in my heart. The culture that I am a part of actually has a history of heart disease since, despite eating relatively healthy food, engaging in strenuous physical activity is not something that is an active aspect of our culture. In the future, what I plan to do is consume more quality calories while engaging in more physical activities. Exercises such as jogging, swimming or joining a boxing class are likely some of the things I am going to join. I will maintain the same type of food that I am eating but increase the amounts so that my calorie content will keep up with the exercise that I am doing.
