Upon reviewing my final essay I feel that its primary strength lies in its clear structure.  I feel that the introduction and conclusion are clearly presented, and the thesis is supported throughout the body paragraphs in a clear and concise way.  After carefully proofreading and review I feel that the thesis and its proof are presented using appropriate language and tone that makes it accessible to a variety of audiences without sacrificing its academic integrity.

A final evaluation of the material presented in the essay has brought to my attention that my conclusion could have posed additional questions for future research into the subject.  It clearly and concisely summarizes what the essay has brought to light, but did not necessarily go as far as I would have liked beyond that to present opportunities for further exploration into the effectiveness of the website’s form and function.[“Write my essay for me?” Get help here.]

Comparing a Scene from Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen with Its Equivalent Adaptation from the Lizzie Bennet Diaries

‘Pride and Prejudice’ by Jane Austen is a story about the five daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet who are not married as they interact with two gentlemen who move in to live in the same neighborhood. One of the gentlemen is Mr. Bingley, who is eligible and rich with and the other man is his friend who is conscious about his status, Mr. Darcy, and happens to be more eligible and more affluent. Bingley immediately likes the eldest daughter of Bennet by the name Jane when they move in; on the other hand, Darcy remains disdainful of the society they have moved in and in many occasions’ clashes with the second daughter of Bennet by the name Elizabeth (Hasan, 2012).

‘The Secret Diary’ by Lizzie Benet is about her life experiences as she makes videos of her thesis in graduate school. Moving from Pemberly to Netherfield, and back again, she navigates the dangerous relationships and social property waters characteristic of the twenty-first century, and this is both off and on the internet. What was initially meant to be a simple thesis idea ends up being a means for Lizzie to reflect and inform upon her life as well as the lives of her sister (Bennet, 2013)?

With the popularity and success that was not initially expected with regards to her videos, she suddenly finds her life and videos displayed prominently in the public eye over the internet. However, as revealing and personal as the videos are, her secret diary brings out her deepest anxieties as well as most of her private thoughts in the course of her year that turns out to be dramatic. [“Write my essay for me?” Get help here.]

‘The Secret Diary’ is a telling of ‘Pride and Prejudice’ via Twitter, online video blogs, and several other media outlets. It has been interestingly adapted from the story in ‘Pride and Prejudice’ and made use of the social idea as a means of retelling the story. The ‘The Secret Diary’ comes out as a ‘Pride and Prejudice’ story that has been transplanted to suit the modern real world.

In her narration, Lizzie is presented as a young woman who is seeking to have a balance in her life, her friends, her work, her school, and her family. She is seen to make mistakes as she is expected to deal with the misconceptions she has about her life that includes Charlotte, Darcy, and Wickham as well as her sister Jane and Lydia and the rest of the characters in the story. The manner in which the story progresses as Lizzie discovers herself through her life experiences comes as the story in ‘Pride and Prejudice’ that has come to age and a self-discovery story. It appears as Bennet Diaries that has been expressed in the feelings and life of Lizzie in a modern and new way. [Need an essay writing service? Find help here.]

In one of the important scenes that are comparable in the two stories is when Lizzie recognizes her simplicity in the trauma experienced by Lydia and goes ahead to reaffirm their bonds. This takes place in Episode Two where she cried when Lydia quotes the comment she had made so as to haunt Lizzie. This episode was used by the writer to make Lizzie learn from its ramifications. It makes Lizzie learn that she should not refer to her sister as a slut without it coming out as a violation and she should not attack the sexuality of female characters in the scene without abetting the system which makes women likely to be attacked. [“Write my essay for me?” Get help here.]

It is evident that there is a thin line between the mental exposure of Lizzie on her Blog and the pornographic exposure that has been forced upon Lydia. Lizzie is presented as being socially and intellectually superior as compared to her sisters but taking into consideration they are living in a world of commodification and objectification, she is equally exploited, and this shows that all women remain vulnerable to harm.

Different from the case in ‘Pride and Prejudice’ is where Elizabeth is seen to scapegoat Lydia and appears to be in a conservative comfort of her marriage. Finally, Lizzie starts to consider herself as being equal to Lydia as well as her defender and identifies their ineffable bonds. ‘The Secret Diary’ is a perfect adaption of Pride and Prejudice’ considering the way it has been presented in a modern perspective

Discussion Question 1
Choose one sexually transmitted illness (STI). Discuss the presenting signs and symptoms, exam findings, diagnostic testing, evidence-based treatment, and patient education.
Sexually transmitted diseases are caused by infections passed through sexual contact from one person to another.  There are many kinds of sexually transmitted infections (or diseases) but in this discussion we are going to explore Syphilis in specific. The infection is transmitted through oral sex, vaginal as well as anal (Thompson, 2011).

Signs and Symptoms of Syphilis
Treponema pallidum is the biological name of the microorganism that causes Syphilis and the manifestation of this bacteria causes;
•    Enlarged lymph nodes
•    Headaches
•    Muscle aches
•    Hair loss
•    Weight loss
•    Fatigue

Exam Findings
A positive result in any findings from the tests indicates the presence of syphilis in the blood. On the other hand, a negative result implies that there is no syphilis infection present and the symptoms are due to another cause.

Diagnostic Testing
Blood or urine sample is taken from a person suspected to be infected with the disease to run the tests. Also, the doctor conducts a physical examination to take a sample from a sore, if at all the sore is present, and determines whether Treponema Pallidum microorganism is present. Thus, during the procedure, the doctor must be competent enough to determine whether the person is suffering from syphilis or not. [“Write my essay for me?” Get help here.]

Evidence-Based Treatment
Penicillin injection is the most widely used and easiest way of treating syphilis. A different oral antibiotic can be used to treat people who are allergic to penicillin which often requires a brief hospital stay. The treatment mostly focuses on easing discomfort along with the associated pain.

Patient Education
Syphilis infection causes severe damage and is only spread through direct contact with syphilitic chancres. It is a good idea to use condoms during any sexual contact, get screened for sexually transmitted infections, and avoid sharing sex toys as well as avoiding having sex with multiple partners.  [Need an essay writing service? Discussion Question 2
Does Tanner staging vary from culture to culture? Why or why not? Support your answers with citations, giving an example of one culture.
Tanner staging is a physical development in children, adolescents, and adults. The developments vary from culture to culture since the physical measurement is based on both outer primaries as well as secondary sex characteristics such as pubic hair, breasts, and genitals. Tanner staging in both boys and girls vary according to clinicians and epidemiologists. This is the time the gonads produce elevated levels of sex hormones that lead to differentiation as well as the development of secondary characteristics. It’s hard to separate the enormous cognition and social development that occur during Tanner staging. Height in both girls and boys increase and the shape of the body changes as the table below shows.

Callahan, & Caughey, 2014
The responses as suggested by the peers indicate that excess hormone cause Tanner staging. Conversely, Callahan and Caughey (2014) argue that early sexual development and incidences of early puberty can cause pathological conditions. The African culture exemplifies the cultures where tanner staging varies. This is due to uneven pubic hair development and distribution.

Discussion Question 3
Discuss the Bethesda Classification of Pap smear testing and evaluation. What are some common causes of abnormal Pap smear results? What treatments would you recommend?
According to Malina and Bouchard (2014), for almost three decades now the Bethesda System has a profound effect on the practice of cervical cytology. The conferences held based on Bethesda System sets the stage for the standardization of terminologies across multiple organ systems. The terminology reflected the current understanding of cervical neoplasia. A Pap test is ideally a screening test where a sample of cells from the cervix and vagina of women is taken. The test protects women from cervical cancer.[Click Essay Writer to order your essay]

Causes of Abnormal Pap Smear Results
•    Low-grade abnormalities
•    High-grade abnormalities
•    Glandular abnormalities

•    Regardless of sexual records, cervical cancer screening should commence at the age of 21 years
•    Women aged 21 to 29 years should perform cervical cytology in every three years
•    Women who had an organ transplant exposure should continue with yearly pap tests.

Research Review
Social media plays a vital role in marketing and businesses have mastered the art of using digital marketing. Technology offers all businesses, regardless of size the chance to reach their target customers and even expand to newer locations. Currently, social media presence is not just important for businesses to reach their target customers but also remain competitive in the market. Some of the common platforms through which companies can maintain their social media presence include Facebook and Twitter among many others (Morton, 2016). Companies now have the chance to explore foreign markets with the advances made in technology.

A strong media presence ensures that a company has a strong brand presence. Studies show that 64 percent of businesses have found the establishment of brand presence to have an effect on boosting their fan base. In addition to making businesses have a strong presence, it also guarantees exposure. The exposure applies to both the company and its target population. For instance, a company could keep up with current trends by constantly monitoring the social presence of its clients. The strong social media presence of a company enables it to provide customer care services (Morton, 2016). Many clients or customers might have queries on the provided products and services. With a strong social media presence, such persons should be able to get feedback in the most convenient time. Traffic and marketing are equally important for sales in any company. With social media, companies will find it simpler to market provided they find the platforms with the highest traffic. For instance, Twitter and Facebook are ranked as the most popular social media sites. This means that companies could find a huge potential of clients through such platforms. This means that the social media presence would make it easier for companies to market their services and products.  [“Write my essay for me?” Get help here.]

FedEx is a shipping company that has mastered the use of social media in delivering its services. Its target audience includes embassies and governmental institutions, small business owners, and all other individuals that need to send something in any part of the world. Its target audience is any person or body that requires delivery services (Kasi, 2016). The use of social media enables FedEx to reach out to more clients and provide any additional information. People looking for delivery services are likely to make previous inquiries on issues such as costs and the time taken for the arrival. With social media platforms, this company can provide the interested persons with information needed to make decisions.

FedEx uses different social media platforms, and that shows why it has managed to attract global clients. The common social media platforms used by FedEx include Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube (Atomic Reach, 2013). It updates these social media sites on regular sites with the aim of providing the target customers with any important information. The most updated social media platforms include Facebook and Twitter. These social media platforms have been most important when people need to find additional information. For instance, people having issues with the delivery system could just contact the company through the social media platforms and find answers. This option tends to be most affordable for people living in far areas.[Need an essay writing service? Find help here.]
The FedEx website is well designed, and it demonstrates different strengths. It has a very simple interface that provides people with an easier time in navigating through different information. It provides the clients with an option through which they can readily track their items. This would make it convenient even when people from different countries want to know the current location of their goods. The website also has a friendly theme that appeals to the visitors. The fact that people are required to log in to access private information is a guarantee that people are assured security when using this company.

Even though the FedEx website is well designed with a theme that would appeal to the clients, it could be made better in different ways. It should consider the use of tabs that take people to the social media platforms. This would be convenient for people looking to have insight on previous reviews on the company services. The use of flash images is known to be effective as it shows the interested persons of the different methods through which deliveries are made (Hemley, 2013). The official website only has a truck, and that could easily mislead people from foreign countries. It would have been more effective to include a ship, plane, and truck. That would assure people on the versatility with which the company operates.

While considering Facebook, the company could adjust its updates and provide people with additional information. This could include any special discounts on the delivery services. The reason why Facebook would be an ideal platform is that it has many users. The company should consider the use of social messages that relate to people (Hemley, 2013). This could include wise quotes or even funny videos. The use of such videos will break the monotony of only providing people with delivery services. The important thing would be for the company to make it difficult for the followers to know what will be posted. [Click Essay Writer to order your essay]

The use of additional slide pictures for the websites will be very effective in ensuring that new persons know the capacity of the company to meet their needs. In addition, it should consider the use wise messages and funny videos on the different social media platforms. This should depend on the nature of the platforms. For instance, it could use funny videos on Facebook while using Twitter for response to clients. It should be in a position to determine the best use for the different platforms. Even though the website is simple, the company should consider making it modern with a smooth look. Some viewers tend to consider the appearance of a website and relate that with the quality of services to expect. It should also create a platform through which people get to share their reviews with the delivery services. This will create the mentality that FedEx has transparency and confidence in its delivery services. Therefore, all these recommendations should guarantee FedEx a stronger social media presence that it currently enjoys.References

Nutrition and exercise are vital in determining the health status of an individual. There are certain activities and kinds of food that when included in one’s daily nutrition and behaviors, can likely lead to certain illnesses. On the other hand, certain behaviors and foods can help prevent given diseases. Thus, it is important to analyze some of the foods, behaviors, exercises, rest and sleep patterns, and their possible impacts on an individual’s health.
Table 1: Nutrition, Behavior, Sleep and Exercise Log

Nutrition Behavior Sleep Exercise Stress Management
Daily calorie intake – 1,600 calories  Food
Day Target Actual
Monday 2 cups fruits 3 cups of orange juice with sugar 2 cigars, 1 bottle of whisky 10 hours 2 hours walking No stress issues
3 cups of vegetables 1 cup cooked spinach
7 ounces of grain 12 slices of brown bread
6 ounces of protein 7 eggs
3 cups of dairy 5 cups of milk with sugar
Tuesday 2 cups fruits 4 cups mango juice with sugar 4 cigars 12 hours 1.5 hours walking Loneliness and eating snacks
3 cups of vegetables 1 cup leafy salad green
7 ounces of grain 8 slices of bread
6 ounces of protein 8 tablespoons of peanut butter
3 cups of dairy 4 cups of milk
Wednesday 2 cups fruits 3 peeled oranges 1 beer, 3 cigars 9 hours 2 hours walking Staying quiet and eating snacks at  every opportunity
3 cups of vegetables 2 cups cooked spinach
7 ounces of grain 9 cups cooked rice
6 ounces of protein 10 ounces chicken with 1 tablespoon salt
3 cups of dairy 6 cups of yoghurt with sugar

I currently weigh 180 lbs and my goal is to attain 150 lbs. My calorie consumption is over 22,000 calories. To achieve this, I have to attain a certain target of nutrition, limit consumption of tobacco and alcohol and do regular exercises. As an adult, I am required to be active at least two and half hours every day. I am also required to limit my consumption of sugar and salt. However, I often end up with unhealthy choices. At the end of a 4 week log, I ended up gaining 3 lbs instead of losing. [“Write my essay for me?” Get help here.]

I walk a lot each day, as my job requires me to do so quite often. I believe this is helping my health. Also, I exercise for a short while each day, which I believe helps improve my life by burning excess calories and keeping my body strong (Casey, Benson & MacDonald, 2004). Ensuring that I vary what I eat each day helps in regulating the amounts of calories I consume on a daily basis. Thus, according to Schulherr (2008), I must keep check on what I take to ensure that my diet is balanced every day.

Adding sugar and salt to my food may not help in improving my health. Too much of these may increase my risks of suffering from diabetes. Remaining silent or deciding to stay lonely whenever I am stressed up is also not helping me improve my health. It may end up complicating my stress levels. On the same note, eating snacks each and every time I am stressed up can result to obesity. Also, I understand my alcohol and tobacco consumption behavior is risky. This is because tobacco increases the risk of lung cancer while alcohol increases the chances of developing liver complications. To be specific, I consume at least a cigar on a daily basis and some alcohol. My addiction to these has placed me at risk of developing lung cancer and liver complications (Lister, 2009). [Click Essay Writer to order your essay]

I tend to take too much calories on Wednesdays. On other days, my consumption is relatively constant. I sleep for longer than 12 hours on weekends and do not exercise at all. This is because I have no engagements on weekends to remind me that I need to wake up, get ready and attend to. Also, I tend to take more cigarettes and drink more beer on weekends. This inconsistency is due to my habit of generally being indoors on weekends. This also implies that I do not exercise on weekends. However, it is worth noting that I am sometimes keener on my diet whenever I have appointments to attend to. Those are also the times I get to remember to exercise. That is why there is a variation between week days and weekends on my food consumption patterns and behavior.

In order to address my weaknesses, I intend to limit my daily tobacco consumption to 1 and my alcohol consumption to 250 ml per day. I also plan to reduce my sugar and salt consumption as much as possible. I intend to implement this by ensuring that I take dairy products and fruit juices in their natural form. Also, plans are underway aimed at increasing the amount of time I take during exercises to more than two hours every day. To achieve this, I intend to join a gym club and maintain a fixed schedule of attending the gym every morning and another hour in the evening. To increase my active hours, I will also walk to the places that are at walking distances. For long distances, I will use a bicycle as opposed to a car. When stressed up, I will try to talk to my close friends about it instead of being lonely and being indoors eating snacks (Duppong et al., 2007).[Need an essay writing service? Find help here.]

To improve on my strengths, I will ensure that I do not exceed the target quantity of each type of food and vary them as much as possible. I will also ensure I stay away from foods that have too much cholesterol and fat. An excess of red meat may lead to undesired health conditions. Thus, my plan is to avoid red meat as much as I can. Currently, I get enough sleep, though sometimes I sleep abnormally longer. This will be adjusted to no more than 10 hours of daily sleep.

Now that I have joined a graduate school, I expect my hours of sleep to change. I also expect to be very busy. To keep up with my plan, I will ensure that I complete my daily activities at 9.00 pm or earlier and retire to bed. I will then wake up at 5.00 am and go to the gym, exercise for an hour before going to my classes. After classes, I will go to the gym for one hour prior to settling down to my homework. After the homework, I will take my supper and go to bed. And the cycle goes on (Casey, Benson & MacDonald, 2004).

Assuming I was advising a patient with the same health log as mine, I would emphasize on more exercise.  I would also advise him or her to limit his or her consumption of sugar and salt. Besides, it is important to limit the consumption of sugar in order to avoid becoming diabetic in the future. It is also important to find alternative stress management techniques rather than staying indoors indulging in eating snacks. This is because eating while stressed up may lead to obesity (Gibson et al., 2004). If one does not exercise regularly, it is easier for him or her to gain weight. Thus, it is important for the individual to exercise more and to cut down excess calories (Casey, Benson & MacDonald, 2004).[Click Essay Writer to order your essay]

Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot that develops in the deep veins, which are usually located in the leg. It causes the swelling of the leg as well as pain in the affected leg. Several risk factors cause the development of DVT.

To begin with, individuals from families with a history of the ailment project an increased risk of developing DVT. Essentially, DVT can be inherited which makes these individuals more susceptible than the others (NHS, 2016). Furthermore, DVT can be a culmination of an injury or surgery that was conducted on the veins. An injured vein has a higher likelihood of developing a blood clot. Pregnancy comprises the next DVT risk factor. This is because the weight of the pregnancy is displaced onto the veins which are situated in the legs and the pelvis of the woman.  Obesity provides a DVT risk factor given that increased body weight is transmitted onto the veins in the leg and pelvic regions. This encourages blood clotting. Smoking significantly increases the risk of one developing a blood clot. Aged individuals project an increased susceptibility to DVT (NHS, 2016). Lastly, Heart failure and cancer victims have a greater risk of DVT. Heart failure hampers the efficient circulation of blood which then leads to the clotting of blood in the legs. On the other hand, cancer introduces new contents into the body which may encourage the clotting of the blood.

Some of the symptoms of DVT include swelling of the leg in the regions where the blood has clotted. Likewise, one tends to feel pain in the affected regions. The affected skins will most likely turn red. This is a proof of the presence of DVT. To rule out other diseases, I will order the D-dimer tests, ultrasound scan, and venogram (NHS, 2016). Essentially, the D-dimer test comprises the initial test. This will be followed by the ultrasound scan. If both the D-dimer test and the ultrasound scan fail to indicate a diagnosis of DVT, the venogram test comprises the last option. [“Write my essay for me?” Get help here.]

Response 1
Pregnant women are susceptible to the peripheral artery disease (PAD). The PAD refers to the blockages of the arteries in the legs. It is a culmination of the building of a fatty substance in the blood vessels which is known as the plaque. The plaque hinders the efficient flow of blood in the blood vessels (SCAI, 2013). Pregnant women do not move around a lot and more often do not exercise. Given their need for nutrition both for the baby and themselves, they are subject to increased fat content in the body. This allows for the development of the plaque which in turn blocks the blood vessels and curtails the flow of the blood in the body. PAD can only be diagnosed when it is identified early. The Diagnosis of PAD is subject to a painless procedure which is known as the ankle-brachial index (ABI) (SCAI, 2013). It determines the blood pressure that is present in the wrists and compares it to the blood pressure that is found in the ankles.[Need an essay writing service? Find help here.]

Response 2
Adult patients with lower leg edema are subject to several diagnoses. The lower leg edema refers to the accumulation of fluids on the lower parts of the leg. Diagnoses include ultrasonography, lymphoscintigraphy, magnetic resonance imaging. Lymphoscintigraphy is intended to display the delayed filings of the lymphatic channels (Trayes, Studdiford, Pickle, & Tully, 2013). It is engaged when the clinical diagnosis cannot be engaged. Venous ultrasonography employs imaging modality to determine the presence of suspected DVT. The magnetic resonance imaging is used in the diagnosis of cases that do not involve proximal thrombosis. I would reinforce the magnetic resonance imaging process. This process succinctly addresses the need for the determination of lower leg edema. Venous insufficiency is a term employed to define the incapability of the vein to efficiently transmit blood and arterial insufficiency refers to the inability of the artery to efficiently circulate blood in the body. [“Write my essay for me?” Get help here.]

In my first job in an insurance firm, I was involved in an emotional triangle that consisted of my Boss, a client/policy holder and myself. The maintenance of personal contact with the insured clients was a necessary part of my job, because the company had just introduced a relationship mini-department. My role was to keep personal touch with the policy holders in both formal and informal meetings.[“Write my essay for me?” Get help here.]

I would call all the clients who had not been contacted in the past few months to see how they were doing. I would then decide on whether I needed to meet them personally or whether a call and a monthly letter were sufficient to maintain the relationship. Mostly, the wealthy clients were tricky to catch because they were always busy but they paid in time; a call was often always sufficient. For clients who were late on their payments, a follow-up meeting was always necessary. [Need an essay writing service? Find help here.]

I would make a list of all the clients who had been called or visited and those that needed to be called or visited every week. My boss would also randomly call some clients from the list as a way of showing that the top management was in touch with its clients. Most clients would call either my boss or myself to say they appreciated the gesture in return. I would also be required to submit the names of the clients who were unable to pay after two months to my boss.

Response to Peer#1
I was attracted to the way that my peer captures the flow of instructions and especially the feedback among the three actors in the emotional triangle. I especially noted that he highlights that the relationship is dynamic and the instructions and the feedback do not operate only in one direction. For example, I noted that at one time, his supervisor would be the one responding to a feedback from the customer and at another time, the same supervisor would be responding to the feedback by him. His triangle captures the feedbacks flowing from all side of the triangle and in every direction. From his emotion triangle, I gathered that there is really no one who can claim to be superior because everyone would be responding to feedback.[Click Essay Writer to order your essay]

Response to Peer#2
I was quick to note that the he captures the emotional triangle appropriately and the role of everyone in the triangle. I especially observed that he captures the concept of self-differentiation quite well. He is able to show how he was responsible for his own behavior and not those of others in the emotional triangle. He is able to demonstrate that the failures of the other two members of the triangle were not his failure. From his example, I also noted that because this is a relationship involving more than two people, it is possible for the outcome of an activity to go wrong even when one or two parties in the triangle perform their role effectively because failure by one party can lead to total failure of the whole operation.

Baldwin Corporation is currently boasting of an increase in profitability, market coverage and improved margins. It is currently at position three in terms of profits made which can be evidenced by the $201 profit made at the end of 2020. In terms of market coverage, Baldwin boasts of controlling more than twenty percent of the market coverage and it’s participating in all of the five market segments. It is, however, faced with some challenges which are a threat to its operations. Demand for products is raising in certain regions of the corporations hotspots. In the contrary, the shipping costs for this corporation have risen tremendously in the recent years which is a big problem to the corporation since it cannot be contained. This paper, thus, explores about the ethical decisions made to resolve the difficult problem of meeting increased demand despite the capital limitations and restricted manufacturing output of the corporation.[Click Essay Writer to order your essay]

Solving the Ethical Dilemma at Baldwin Corporation
To solve this dilemma the executive committee employed the utilization theory of ethics. They came to an agreement that the offshore supplier was to increase plant output. A policy was also to be imposed to ensure audits were done twice a year despite the potential increase in labor costs. An auditing team was also to be sent there with immediate effect. This was the most preferred decision since it was in line with the world just theory and had a communal approach. The corporation being a business entity has no direct control over the market and the increased demand, but has direct control over the costs it is incurring (McWay, 2010).

Act utilization section of utilization theory is seen when the corporation notifies the offshore supplier to increase their supply. This is for the good of its market since they would enjoy a constant supply all through due to the increased demand. The rule section of this theory applied whereby despite the potential five percent in increase in labor cost, the corporation is willing to carry on the already scheduled audits, an indication that it obeys the laws and values of the wellbeing of its employees (O’Sullivan, 2012).

One of the suggestions made by the committee was to notify the offshore supplier to increase plant output. This was aimed at meeting the high demand in the market as observed. Consequently, increased supply lead to increased profit margins that would raise Baldwin’s profit of $201 by a significant percentage. The increase in supply was for maintaining customers which could have resulted into a five percent in sales. The increased supply will also serve as a reserve in case of a further increase in the market demand. Increased profitability would be used to meet the problem of limiting capital due to increased costs. [Need an essay writing service? Find help here

The scheduled audits where fundamental in obtaining the required financial report on the operations of the suppliers. An immediate proposal could be used to catch the offshore suppliers unawares. This is based on the fact that the corporation was in audit agreement with the supplier and which could lead into the supplier falsifying their work to go undetected. The regular audits, which were to be done twice a year, would serve as reinforcement to the earlier conducted audits.[“Write my essay for me?” Get help here.]

Solutions offered by the corporation on the ethical dilemma were good. They considered the interests of the public (who are the buyers), the corporation itself and its employees. Utilization theory of ethics was employed well. Both rule and act utilization was employed. I therefore believe that implementation of  the solutions proposed, Baldwin Corporation will be able to overcome the problem of being able to meet the increased demand despite their working capital limitations and the limited manufacturing output and be able to achieve its set goals.

As American as Divorce
The article As American as Divorce is an exploration of the culture of divorce in America. It examines the changes in divorce rates since the 19th century, and forwards theories that may be the fueling factors behind the recent trends in divorce observed in American families. The trends are more pronounced in individuals above the age of 50. The popular term for a divorce between individuals above the age of 50 years in the 21st century is “Gray Marriage.”

Jones (2016) alludes to the divorce between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to demonstrate the changing dynamics divorce in America. Ever since the announcement of the separation, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been the subject of scathing criticism from the public. They have been accused of misleading the young American couples into divorces (Jones, 2016). However, the author of the article contends that this is an erroneous and baseless accusation given that premarital cohabitation and childbirth have nothing to do with the future divorce possibilities of the involved couple. [“Write my essay for me?” Get help here.]

According to Jones (2016), couples that marry in the 21st century are less likely to divorce than the ones from the preceding generations. In the United States, 15% of individuals have above the age of 50 have been divorced (Jones, 2016). In a similar trend, 25% of all marriage dissolutions in America involved individuals that were above the age of 50 (Jones, 2016). The author also states that with the changing economic and social dynamics, it is becoming harder for married couples to see through their marriage contracts, and that results in divorces. [Need an essay writing service? Conclusively, I agree with the article findings, which state the increasing divorce trends in individuals above the age of 50. The concept, given its popularity, has been dubbed “Gray divorce”. The increasing divorce rate in America is a result of the changes in the social frameworks that guided marriage. It is becoming harder for individuals to stay in marriage given the economic and prevailing psychological demands. [Click Essay Writer to order your essay]

Schizophrenia is deadly mental disorder that is seen in individuals during their early twenties. The disorder however has definitive cure and patients may experience symptoms for this disease throughout their lives. Many hypotheses have come out about the cause of the disease though none among them fully explains its pathophysiology. These hypotheses range from genetics to brain chemistry, structure and even environmental factors. Schizophrenia is presented by hallucinations, delusions, impaired cognitive activity, unorganized or abnormal motor movements and the inability to express emotions. Different researches have tried to explain some of these behaviors, how they come about and what medication can be the most appropriate. Schizophrenia having existed for decades, we believe that one day we shall come to understand the mystery behind it, in terms of the causes and the way it manifests.

Expository Essay on Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is a rare and severe mental disorder that is characterized with delusions and constant hallucinations. Schizophrenia accounts for approximately less than one percent of mental illnesses in the world. The onset of the disease has been found to be in the individual’s early twenties and these symptoms persist throughout the entire life of the individual despite the individual receiving medication. Over the years a lot of studies on the causes of the disease have been going on yet the real cause of this grave disease has not been found. However, with advancement in technology and intricate studies done it is thought that this mental disorder has a genetic basis and to some extent environmental factors. It is therefore thought disorders, brain chemistry, structural abnormalities and environmental factors are responsible for the manifestation of this disorder.

Although no specific genes have been found to cause schizophrenia, scientists have hypothesized that schizophrenia could be caused by certain genes which are inheritable. Through studies it has been established that there is a possibility of the other identical twin getting this deadly disease if present in either one of them. Also if a family member is schizophrenic or either of the parents, there is a possibility of other family members becoming schizophrenic.

According to Labrie et al. (2009), the gene for 5-HT1A, a receptor for serotonin, is significantly associated with schizophrenia. The study was the first to indicate a positive association of genes and schizophrenia among the Han population, and hence could be a better evidence of genes being involved in schizophrenia. The study involved eight hundred and forty-six normal individuals who were the controls and seven hundred and fifty-two schizophrenics. Five single nucleotide polymorphisms were genotyped in the genes for 5-HT1A and 5-HT2A. The result showed that one of the single nucleotide polymorphism was largely associated with schizophrenia. Studies have shown that low levels or deficiency of D-serine in an individual’s brain play a role in the pathophysiology of schizophrenia. D-serine, which is synthesized in brain cells by serine racemase, is a very important modulator of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor. Abnormal functioning of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor is therefore thought to have a direct implication in the pathophysiology of schizophrenia.

According to Papiol et al. (2011), a research was conducted on the effects of reduced levels of D-serine on mice which displayed some schizophrenic behaviors. Point mutations I genomes of the experimental mice was introduced by N-nitoso-N-ethylurea mutagenesis (ENU). This was to obtain serine recimase mutation in the mice. Western blot analysis using both monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies showed loss of serine recimase protein in the brain of these mice. The experimental mice were then interbred with the interbred with the control mice to get heterozygous mice. The mutant mice’s brain showed no or reduced levels of serine recimase protein. They also displayed schizophrenic behaviors like impaired prepulse inhibition, difficulties in sociability and spatial discrimination. Deficiency or low levels of D-serine affects N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor function and so results into reduced glutamic neurotransmission. N-methyl-D-aspartate receptors are special receptors that also act as ion channels found in nerve cells. These receptors are thought to be involved with synaptic plasticity which is a cellular mechanism involved in learning and memory. Synaptic plasticity is dependent on calcium ions influx through these receptors. Disruption in the function of these receptors as a result of reduced D-serine therefore results into schizophrenic behaviors (Symtheis, 2004). [“Write my essay for me?” Get help here.]

Research through DNA microarray studies has also linked oligodendrocyte dysfunction to schizophrenia. Oligondentric dysfunction basically refers to the down regulation of oligodentricite-related genes. According to Sujitha,  et al. (2014), about a research done on abnormalities in myelination related genes, gene expression in oligondenrocytes and myelination was investigated in schizophrenia brains. In the experiment, fifteen brains from schizophrenic individuals and other fifteen normal individuals were used. Schizophrenia brains were used as experimental while the other brains were used as their controls. Quantative polymerase chain reactions and indexing-based differential polymerase reactions were used in screening the two sets of brains for differences in gene expression. Results from the experiment showed reduction in genes related to oligodentrocyte and myelin in the schizophrenia brains.

I t is, thus, hypothesized that disruption of axonal myelination by oligodentrocytes is what results to brain disconectivity and impaired cognitive functions. Myelination is essential for the rapid conduction of nerve impulses in nerve neurons. Oligodentritic down regulation therefore affects the process of myelination and therefore the process of nerve impulse transmission. Deficient nerve impulse transmission is the direct consequence of impaired neural, cognitive and glial functions as observed in schizophrenic patients.[Need an essay writing service? One of the characteristic patients of schizophrenia is their inability to interpret or bring out emotions in tonal variations invoices and so find difficulties in social cognition. According to Kantrowitz  et al. (2015), on Auditory Emotion Recognition Deficits, schizophrenics demonstrated difficulties in the recognition of the various emotions as depicted by the base pitch and pitch variability. In the experiment frequency modulation was used in creating base pitch modulations and pitch variability to mimic the tonal variations found in speech. These frequency modulations were to be used as the stimulus for different intended emotions. The experiment comprised of forty-three patients of schizophrenia and thirty-six controls who were subjected to this modulations. Mismatch negativity was also assessed in these patients. Majority of the patients in the experiment showed significant reductions in mismatch negativity across the frequency modulations. They also showed impairments in auditory emotion recognition and frequency modulation stimulus recognition.

Regions of the brain such as the amygdala, anterior insula, auditory cortex and the inferior frontal gyrus are thought to be involved in auditory emotional recognition. Abnormalities in the above regions of the brain lead to difficulties in recognition of emotions in speech which happens to be the case with schizophrenic patients (Roberts 2013).[Click Essay Writer to order your essay]

Schizophrenia for many decades has been a mystery to doctors and the public. People have always wanted to know the real cause of the disease, what those suffering the disease go through and why they behave in the given manner. Through research, scientists have been able to give some of these explanations. It is therefore thought that genetics, structural abnormalities in the brain and disorders in brain chemistry could be the main cause. These findings also try to explain why these patients present with the given symptoms. For instance impaired cognitive activity of the brain can be related to demyelination in the brain and oligodentric down regulation. However these findings are not enough and so the need for more research thanks to the ever developing technology.
